4. ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION:

The practice of Father Siemaszko Foundation is based on the principle of Priest Kazimierz Siemaszko’s charity activities. He lived in the 2nd part of the 19th century. He took care of children from poor families and orphans.
Thanks to the priests and brothers from the organizations who claim St. Vincent de Paul as their founder it was possible to renovate K.Siemaszko’s deeds in the 2th half of the 20th century, after strong limits from communistic authorities.

5. AIMS DESCRIPTION:

The main aim of our organization is to help children from poor families to get good education and spiritual development, to provide opportunities for them to try themselves in a wide range of international programs in order to develop their skills and to enrich their knowledge, to raise tolerance.
Our work is mainly concentrated on:

• International exchange programs
• International youth meetings
• Extra-curriculum and out-if-classes activities for children and youth
• City Bound Europe programs
• International Volunteer Programs
• Summer day camps

6. ACTIVITIES DESCRIPTION:

The main activities we conduct are based on the principals of non-formal learning methodology. The participant of our projects gain theoretical as practical knowledge in workshops, presentations, city games and other creative tasks.
Our Educational Centre “RadosnaNowina” gives children and young people a splendid opportunity to get good education and to improve their skills in different cources(Ceramics, Art, Chess, Foreign Languages, Dance, Choir etc.)
Our pupils can take part in different exchange programs and spend up to a year in a hosting family in another country. We worked out a special program for helping our school-leavers after their finishing school.
For the international projects we usually try to compose groups of people with different experience, background, opinions and experience with the topic.

7. EXPERIENCES IN EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK:

Annually we take part in different international projects, for example European Volunteer Service, Polish-German Exchange programs, International Youth Meetings, ASF-programs such as, for example, studying during one semester or a year abroad (for schoolchildren); International Workshops.

8. INTEREST IN FUTURE ERASMUS+ PROJECTS:

We expect from our participants’ group to be interested in the topics and willing to challenge their ideas, discuss their thoughts and share their experience, to be open-hearted towards other people.
